The Makita LS1040N is upgraded version of the predecessor Model LS1040. The difference is no lock off switch. The machine benefits from higher body rigidity which gives more accurate cuts, Bevel Cut (left only) and more efficient chip/sawdust collection. Also boasts more stable cutting by holding material more widely with sub fence.
