The Makita DUC256CZ is a 36V LXT Top Handle Cordless Chainsaw powered by 2 x 18V LXT Li-Ion batteries in series, providing excellent cutting performance equivalent to a petrol 30cc engine chain saw. This model also comes with XPT - Xtreme Protection Technology which protects the machine against dust and water even under harsh conditions. Fitted with captive nuts to prevent loss of nuts when removing sprocket cover to replace guide bar or saw chain in long grass etc. It has a Torque boost mode to raise the current limit temporarily for faster cutting of thicker branches. Sold as a body-only machine without battery or charger in a cardboard box.
